Please join Mass Senior Care for a webinar on Friday, October 30th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Meeting the New HPPD Requirement: What Nursing Facilities Need to Know. As part of the Baker Administration and the Executive Office of Health and Human Services recently released Nursing Facility Accountability and Supports Package 2.0, nursing facilities will have to meet a minimum Hours Per Patient Per Day (HPPD) requirement beginning this winter. This webinar will offer best practices for hiring and onboarding the Resident Care Assistants (RCAs) which can support CNAs and nursing staff in skilled nursing facilities and create a training pipeline to critically needed CNAs. You will also learn about statewide efforts to expand the long term care direct care workforce.
