Seminar Description:

September is Sepsis Awareness Month, the perfect time to focus on one of the most critical and life-threatening conditions affecting your residents: sepsis. Every year, over 1.7 million adults in the U.S. develop sepsis, with 87% of cases starting before hospital admission (CDC). For long-term care- facilities (LTCFs), understanding sepsis is essential for early recognition and prompt intervention, which can be life-saving. This session aims to empower your staff with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize sepsis early, initiate timely and appropriate therapy, and implement effective prevention strategies.

  2. Understand the importance of timely and appropriate therapy
  3. Identify effective sepsis prevention strategies

The Massachusetts Senior Care Association has qualified for “deemed status #NH-09015-007” from the Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators for Administrators. Cancellation Policy:

Mass Senior Care must be notified in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the seminar for a refund, minus a $25 processing fee, which will be refunded in the manner in which the payment was made. “No Show” attendees will be billed at the full registration fee.
