Webinar: Does Your Respiratory Protection Program Meet OSHA Standards?

October 27, 2020

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

A respiratory protection program is a written program required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134). OSHA requires that each employer must establish and maintain a respiratory protection program for employees who are required to wear respirators during work tasks, and is intended to prevent employees from inhaling harmful contaminants in the workplace. The respiratory protection program must be compliant with the OSHA respiratory protection standard, and employers must provide respirators suitable for their intended purpose.

Please join us for a webinar on October 27, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm as Marvin Lewiton, Industrial Hygiene Supervisor, from the On-Site Consultation Program, MA Department of Labor Standards reviews the required components of a respiratory protection program including the use of respirators and OSHA fit-testing requirements.
