Mass Senior Care is inviting members to a Zoom meeting on Monday, December 13, 2021, to discuss the critical need for long term care providers to increase boosters among staff now. The meeting will include brief presentations by:
- Dr. Larissa Lucas, MD, FACP, HMDC, Medical Director, North Shore Physicians Group
- Amy Tramontozzi, Public Health Nurse, DPH
- Emily Cooper, MPH, Quality Improvement Manager, Healthcentric Advisors, and
- Representatives from member nursing facilities.
The meeting will include an overview of current COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts nursing homes, the efficacy of the booster vaccine, discussion on strategies to increase staff booster vaccine uptake rates and a review of the required NHSN data related to staff boosters. This meeting is intended to be interactive and there will be ample time for discussion. Participants must register in advance for this meeting and will receive the meeting link once they have registered.
