Who we are: New England Pediatric Care (NEPC) is a one-of-a-kind resource that provides specialized around the clock care to infants, children and young adults with complex medical needs. In addition to our residential skilled nursing facility, we also offer an onsite Special Education Private School and Young Adult Day Programming.

We are currently hiring for all shifts within our skilled nursing facility for floor CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistants), as well as Ed-CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistants) that work the day shift (6:45am-3:15) in both the Education department and on the skilled nursing facility floor. At NEPC we care for children, families and each other.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Working alongside our dedicated team of highly skilled nurses, rehab therapists, teachers and recreation staff, you will be responsible for providing care to our family of residents, including total assistance with ADL's (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
• 1:1 feeding of residents that eat by mouth in accordance with individualized meal plan
• Total assistance of residents transfers and transportation within the facility, to and from all scheduled classes, programs, activities and special events
• Assist in implementation of classroom and program room goals, activities and schedule
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, Director of Education or Administrator

Qualifications and Skills
• Must have completed MA certified nursing assistant program
• Must hold a MA CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license or be in the process of taking state exam within the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
• Sincere desire to work with and serve the severely disable and medically complex population
